Epchris Guest House is nestled at the foot of the Torrs in the Wilder Valley, in one of Ilfracombe most beautiful, peaceful and tranquil spots but remains in close proximity to the Town Centre and Seafront offering the best of both worlds.
The Epchris is the one of the oldest buildings in the Torrs Park area dating back to 1831 set in 1.5 acres of landscaped gardens with the added bonus of a heated outdoor swimming pool and private car parking. The main house also has a sun terrace from which you can breakfast al fresco, enjoy a drink and take in the breathtaking scenery across the Wilder valley.
This beautifully restored and appointed house retaining many original features is the ideal base from which to relax unwind and enjoy all that Ilfracombe and North Devon has to offer.
From the Dining room and terrace to bedrooms and bathrooms every care has been taken to make sure all needs are catered for and to make your stay one to remember, for all the right reasons.
We have the added bonus of 1 ground floor bedroom specially adapted for guests with mobility issues, en suite wet room.

Our Guest House
We are a family run business who pride ourselves on our warm welcome and high standards of service to all our guests. All rooms are en suite, many enjoying surperb views over the gardens and Wilder Valley. Every care has been taken from our comfortable beds, flat screen 22" TV's and DVD players, hairdyers, alarm clock radio, generous beverage tray, those extra pampering toileteries, to our tastefully decorated and furmished rooms. Relax and unwind on our sun terrace, perhaps breakfast al fresco, enjoy a drink from our beautiful lounge bar with comfy leather sofas or take a dip in our pool. Our dining room retains its Georgian heritage and is a stunning room from which to partake of our freshly prepared breakfasts all ingredients carefully sourced using local produce a great start to your day.
We have private car parking, are licensed with the added bonus of gardens and outdoor heated swiming pool (availble May to end of September). We welcome dogs by prior arrangement, a small extra nightly charge applies.
All this within easy reach, only a 5 minute walk, to the seafront and town centre. With its fantastic restaurants, bars and bistros. Ilfracombe has so much to offer and is a ideal base from which to explore North Devon.
